How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Thaw the peaches, if frozen.
  • Drain and discard any juice from peaches and place the peaches in a round 8 x 1 1/2" baking dish.
  • Mix together 3 Tablespoons sugar and 1 Tablespoon flour, sprinkle over peaches and toss to coat.
  • In a small bowl, stir together all remaining ingredients except buttermilk.
  • Drizzle the buttermilk over the oat mixture, then use a fork to combine the mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Sprinkle on top of filling.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
  • NOTES : Also good made with pears, berries or apples.
