OREO SMASH CAKE

- 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist devil's food cake mix shopping list
- 1 bag (18 oz.) double-stuf Oreo cookies, crushed into large chunks shopping list
- 1 1/3 cups whole milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- Glaze: shopping list
- one cup semi sweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons milk shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon corn syrup shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Grease a 12 cup Bundt cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, milk, oil and eggs. Mix for one minute by hand or with mixer set at low speed.
- Mix in crushed cookies.
- Pour batter into Bundt pan and place on middle shelf of preheated oven.
- Bake for one hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool for about 30 minutes before you remove from pan. While cake is cooling, prepare glaze.
- In microwave or double boiler, melt together all glaze ingredients.
- Drizzle glaze over top of cake. Add oreo cookies for garnish if you like.
- Refrigerate and serve when chilled.
- Note: Do not over crush the cookies. They should be "chunks" so some of the white stuff remains after the baking process.
