Mom always serves a traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner on Saint Patrick's Day (March 17). She always makes a loaf of this tasty bread to have with the meal. We eat slices hot from the oven slathered with butter. To die for!

Ah yes-- I remember Irish soda bread well! It's an old, ancient recipe, but a mighty tasty one! FIVE :+D

Love it, Thanks. I like the no yeast bread recipes. As much as I like a good corned beef, I think I'll try it with Irish stew. Perfect weather for it. Tanya
