Ingredients
  • 2 c Sugar
  • 1 c Oil
  • 4 Eggs fork beaten
  • 3 c Flour
  • 2 ts Baking powder
  • 2 ts Cinnamon
  • 1/2 ts Nutmeg
  • 1/4 ts Cloves
  • 1/2 ts Ground ginger
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 15 oz canned pumpkin
  • 1 6 oz pkg mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c Chopped walnuts
  • 1 8 oz. jar chopped maraschino Cherries

Directions
  1. Note: varied time for each way of baking:
  2. Beat sugar, oil, eggs well.
  3. Combine remaining dry ingredients well.
  4. Combine both mixtures together until well combined.
  5. Stir in pumpkin.
  6. Fold in chips, nuts and drained cherries.
  7. Bake either 3 ways: 1 greased and floured large tube pan, 350F for 1 hour and 20 minutes or tested done.
  8. OR 2, 9 x 5 loaf pans for 60 minutes or tested done,
  9. OR 5, 6 x 3 inch pans until tested done .
  10. Cool in pan 15 minutes and remove to racks to cool.
  11. Wrap well and let stand overnight before slicing.
  12. Optional Ingredients: like the chips and cherries etc,add one or all to the recipe if you wish
