How to make it

  • In 8 quart stock pot, bring "Old Bay" seasoning, salt, water and beer to a boil.
  • Add potatoes and onions and cook over high heat 8 minutes.
  • Add smoked sausage and cook over high heat 5 minutes.
  • Add corn and cook 7 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and cook 4 minutes.
  • Drain and pour into 1 huge or 2 large bowls.
  • Sprinkle with additional "Old Bay" seasoning if desired.
  • Provide empty bowls or pails for shrimp shells.
