- 2 Cups peanut butter
- 1 cup butter
- 5 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 or 2 squares of Baker's sweet chocolate

Ingredients

2 Cups peanut butter shopping list
1 cup butter shopping list
5 cups powdered sugar shopping list
1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
1 or 2 squares of Baker's sweet chocolate shopping list

How to make it

Mix butters and vanilla together.
Slowly mix in Powdered sugar.
Form into balls.
Melt 1 or 2 squares of Baker’s sweet chocolate (or your favorite sweet chocolate).
Dip balls in chocolate and chill.

I make these every year for XMAS but add chopped walnuts and chopped maraschino cherries. Delicious! Also use semi-sweet or special dark chocolate for dipping.

I know bittersweet chocolate would work, but don't know about the semi-sweet! Names can be confusing, ya know?

Awesome! I have been trying to find a recipe for these that dont call for paraffin wax to add to the chocolate!! thanks!!! btw, does semi-sweet bakers chocolate work as a sub.?

We call these Buckeyes here in Ohio. I've never used vanilla and can't imagine they need it and chocolate "bark" works really well. These are tasty. I saw them in a little store the other day, large ones, a little larger than walnuts for $.89 a piece!!!

Oh my lady do these look good. Im so in the baking mood today..I want to make these but I made a yummy peach crisp. I will try to post it tonight. Im making these asap!
