This is what my mom called a poor man's nut pie... Boy is it good to be POOR! lol
A very old recipe

Ingredients
- 3 well beaten eggs
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar (I use Splenda)
- 1 cup brown sugar (I use 1/2 cup Splenda Brown Sugar)
- 2 Tablespoons melted real butter
- 2/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts.
- 2/3 cup coconut
- 3/4 cup Old Fashioned rolled oats (not the quick cooking)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. Rum or Brandy flavoring (optional)
Directions
- 350* oven 35 -40 min.
- Beat eggs well and add rest of ingredients in the order given.
- Pour into 9-inch unbaked pie shell.
- It will be brown on top when done.
