Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
  2. Spray loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt in
  4. large bowl.
  5. Stir in chocolate chunks.
  6. Whisk together buttermilk, honey, oil and eggs in medium bowl.
  7. Add wet mixture to dry ingredients.
  8. Stir to blend only.
  9. Transfer to prepared loaf pan.
  10. Bake until tester inserted comes out clean, about 32 to 35 minutes.
  11. Cool 10 minutes before inverting onto rack.
  12. Slice and serve warm.

I would never have thought to include chocolate as an ingredient in cornbread either but it sure sounds delicious to me ;) I'll try anything to spruce up cornbread and your recipe looks perfect! High "5"
