Easy Chicken Linguine

- 1 roasted Rotisserie chicken, deboned and shredded to bite size pieces (I used the apple wood flavored one) shopping list
- 1 small can of mushrooms, drained shopping list
- 1 small can of sliced black olives, drained shopping list
- bacon grease (I always save my bacon grease for just such an occasion as this, butter would work fine, too.) shopping list
- 1 can of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 cup of milk shopping list
- 1/2 - 1 cup shredded Velveeta shopping list
- 1 teaspoon (more or less) of Tony Chachere's creole seasoning shopping list
- linguine, prepared according to directions shopping list
How to make it
- Heat bacon grease in a large skillet.
- Add mushrooms, olives and shredded chicken.
- Saute until heated through.
- Add soup and milk.
- Heat through, stirring to incorporate.
- Stir in cheese.
- Serve over Linguine, with a nice green salad, garlic bread and white wine.

Outstanding recipe - yummm. I save my bacon grease, too - just as my momma and grandma did - and use it all the time to punch up the flavors of sauteed/fried goodies, veggies and gravies, et al. Just looking at your picture makes me so hungry. You...more
