How to make it

  • Peel and grate three medium potatoes.
  • Add to them the beaten YOLKS of 2 eggs.
  • Stir in salt, flour and baking powder.
  • Mix well and then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  • Drop into hot fat by spoonful and cook until golden brown.
  • Drain on brown paper bags.

    This recipe appears to be good. For strict vegans if the eggs can be replaced with egg substitute and insteed of deep frying we can go for shalow frying after making the consistancy bt adding some milk the calory watchers may also enjoy this recipe.
