How to make it

  • Melt butter in 10" skillet over med. heat. Cook several apple rings at a time in butter,turning once ,till golden brown(add more butter if necessary.
  • Return all apple rings to killet, Mix wine,lemon juice,ginger and cinnamon;pour over aples. Sprinkle with sugar. Cover and cook over medium heat about 5 mins. or just till apples are tender and glazed. Serve warm with whipped cream.
  • Special touch: Create the ultimate apple rings when you top arm rings with thin slices of sharp cheddar cheese and sprinkle a few finely chopped walnuts.
