- I can assure you of one thing..this is a fabulous dessert. shopping list
- I do not care for the ones made with pudding in a box! :) shopping list
- 'CHILL TIME NOT INCLUDED IN PREP TIME' shopping list
- 'Crust:' shopping list
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- !/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup soft butter or margarine shopping list
- Custard: shopping list
- 2 cups whole milk shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup AP flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsps salt shopping list
- 3 ounces of cream cheese (VERY soft) shopping list
- 2 eggs beaten well shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 3 medium sized ripe bananas, sliced shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups whipped cream or Cool Whip shopping list
- Heat oven to 375°F. shopping list

- Make the crust: shopping list
- Mix (well) graham cracker crumbs, butter ,and sugar in a medium bowl. shopping list
- Press in bottom of un-greased square pan, 9x9x2 inches. (I also allow it to go up the sides just a bit). shopping list
- Bake 'crust' about 7 minutes just to set it a bit. shopping list
- Allow to cool completely, about 30 minutes. shopping list
- Put sliced bananas in the bottom of your dish. shopping list

- Make the Custard: shopping list
- Combine the milk, flour, sugar, salt then eggs..I add the beaten eggs last. shopping list
- Add very soft cream cheese. shopping list
- Cook and stir over med. heat. Let it get TO the boiling point but it should NOT boil. shopping list
- When the custard is very thick remove from heat and whisk to insure smoothness. shopping list
- Add vanilla, mix. shopping list
- Now, pour evenly in to the graham cracker crust. shopping list
- Dot more bananas in the custard. shopping list
- Allow to cool and cover the desert with Cool Whip or whipped cream. shopping list
How to make it
- Optional: I usually crush 1 graham cracker over the top for a nice finished look.
- This is delicious slightly warm or very cool.
- After serving, keep refrigerated.

- Shown without the whip cream, sometimes
- I make a meringue for it.
