A super-moist treat that's good as a snack, or as a fancier dessert, when served with some melted jam and whipped cream.

What an interesting twist on brownies. I'd not have thought of adding the berries. I'll try these for sure. Thanks for a sweet idea.

I have been going through blackberry recipes as it's that time of year and we have a A LOT that I have packaged and frozen away to make sure we will have enough for the year, using a food saver. But with the next batch me and my son pick I'm thinking about making this with some fresh blackberries, maybe next Friday.. Sounds really good.

I never put them in my brownies either. This year we didn't get too many, but usually I freeze them and then make jelly.

These were tasty! I took them to a party over the weekend and they were a hit. I did have to cook them much longer than stated and they were hard to handle by hand to eat (so if you have any suggestions to what I did wrong, it would be greatly appriciated), but they tasted great. Would be really tasty served warm w/ some ice cream. I'll have to try this one again w/ my abundance of berries.

Just made this with blackberries picked the other day (very poor this year as it's been too dry.
This is great on my 2nd bowl now. Thought there was a mistake & too much sugar, but it is actually perfect !I'm cooking in a Rayburn (fired by old fence panels) so it's a work of art not to burn anything.
