Hot Italian Sandwiches Recipe

Hot Italian Sandwiches Recipe
My Mom used to make these when I was a kid. They are saucy and spicy and yummy. Goes good with steamed veggies.

Yummy

That wasn't what I was expecting at all - LOVE this idea...will have to try it for our next gathering of the "kids" - I'm sure this will go over very well...thanks!

I made these for the Refugee Recipe Swap. They were very good. The family loved them. They had great flavor. Since I have younger children and a husband who doesn't like things very spicy, I toned them down by using mild italian sausage and I only used 1 tsp of red pepper. They still had a good amount of spice to them even with that so I would guess they are very spicey with the hot sausage and all the pepper. We really liked these. a very good recipe.

This sounds good! Is it served like a burger?

Yep eat it like a burger. We used to eat plain potato chips with it too. I also revised this recipe a little per momto5 review. (I usually dont measure so my amount of red pepper was definitly off.) Thanks for trying it! =)

Yummo as Rachael Ray would say thanks for the posting.
