Not Your Mommas Meatloaf Recipe
This is my adapted version of meatloaf. It has a couple of unexpected ingredients, but it comes out so tasty and moist. The kids ask for it all the time. Great with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef or buffalo (much healthier and tastier than beef)
  • 1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 small onion finely diced and sauteed until soft
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. ranch dressing
  • 3/4 c. italian style bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp. Worcheshire
  • 1 tsp. A-1® sauce
  • a couple dashes Tobasco®
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • Glaze:
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp. ground dry mustard

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 375°.
  2. Mix all of the meatloaf ingredients in a bowl.
  3. You may need to add a few more bread crumbs if the mixture is to soft to form a loaf.
  4. Put in a 9x5 loaf pan and cover with foil.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and spread glaze on top (you may not need to use all of the glaze-just what you prefer).
  7. Cook for an additional 20 minutes.
