Whiskey Slush Recipe
This was my first "adult" drink. My grammy made them every summer and served them after a hard day of working in her garden.

  • 1 12-ounce can frozen orange juice
  • 1 12-ounce can frozen lemonade
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups of double-strength tea (4-6 tea bags)
  • 6 cups of water
  • 2-1/2 cups whiskey
  • 7-up, Fresca or other grapefruit soda

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the soda in a freezable coverable container.
  2. Freeze for 2 days

  6. NOTE- These do have quite a kick so if you're not used to hard liquor, use less slush and more soda.

Oh I LOVE slush drinks in the summer - this one is going in my freezer very, very soon!

Oh this sounds AWESOME!!!!!!!

I added this recipe to the Masters of Mixology Group. It just needs to be there too!

What exactly is double-strength tea, how do you make that and do you make that before starting the recipe.

Use 2 teabags per water measure when you'd normally only use 1 teabag.
