Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Butter a 9x13 baking pan
  • Using an electric mixer:
  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (better if the boutter is softened instead of cold)
  • Beat in peanut butter
  • Beat in eggs, yolk and vanilla
  • Mix in flour on low speed
  • Stir in 1 1/2 c chocolate chips
  • Spread in buttered pan - batter is kinda thick and a little sticky
  • Bake 40-45 minutes, until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center has a few small crumbs attached
  • Remove from oven and immediately scatter remaining chips on top of brownies
  • When they are soft and shiny, spread over brownies to form icing
  • Allow to cool completely, cut into squares and store in airtight container
