Your Chocolates In My Peanut Butter Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks margarine or butter (margarine works fine)

1 3/4 c sugar

a c peanut butter

2 large eggs plus 1 large egg yolk

2 t vanilla

2 c all purpose flour

12 oz bag semi sweet or milk chocolate chips - divided into 1 1/2 c and 1/2 c

Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Butter a 9x13 baking pan

Using an electric mixer:

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (better if the boutter is softened instead of cold)

Beat in peanut butter

Beat in eggs, yolk and vanilla

Mix in flour on low speed

Stir in 1 1/2 c chocolate chips

Spread in buttered pan - batter is kinda thick and a little sticky

Bake 40-45 minutes, until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center has a few small crumbs attached

Remove from oven and immediately scatter remaining chips on top of brownies

When they are soft and shiny, spread over brownies to form icing

Allow to cool completely, cut into squares and store in airtight container
