I came up with this when I was trying to think of some kind of a Christmas treat for the kids. Us adults have rum balls...so I thought this would be perfect for the kids!

What a fun treat for the kids (and adults!)...my grandchildren will love these, I'm sure. You have been a busy baker!! Thanks, Lillian...Krum

Hmm this sounds great. This would be wonderful for a food gift or slid across the table at a holiday party. Finger food is always the best.
A little btw have you tried Oreo truffles? These would be great for kids too.

I love the addition of the mint in this one flagged as beautiful too.
Five forks and a smile.

Lillian, these were so much fun to make! Since it's after the holidays and candy canes aren't available, I ended up using a Jr Mint OR crushed dessert mints on the tops, and even stuffed some of them with a Jr Mint concealed in the center - I will be giving these to my family for Valentine's Day and I know they will love them...crispy, creamy, minty little rice crispy treats drenched in chocolate - better than any boxed candy I can think of! Thanks so much - my little granddaughter will go crazy over these!
