Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 small diced sweet onion
- optional ingredients: diced tomatoes, sautéed green peppers and/or mushrooms
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese, or any cheese of your choice
- 1 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup grated Velveeta cheese
- 9 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- a little garlic powder, red pepper flakes, cumin for seasoning (any or all are optional)
Directions
- Fry sausage and onion until cooked through; drain.
- In a generously buttered 9x13 glass baking dish, layer the sausage and onions, then any optional ingredients, then cheeses.
- Beat egg, milk, flour and seasoning together; pour over layers.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until eggs are set.
- Serve with salsa and sour cream, if desired.

Well my dear friend it has been a while since I have really done any touring of the recipes. I am looking for some refreshing breakfast recipes. I'm kinda bored of the same old stuff that I cook everyday. This recipe sounds real good. I give you my 5 on this recipe. Between boring breakfasts and looking for ideas for the superbowl, since i am having a houseful for that event, that is all I am doing for the moment. I really miss hearing from you.
