How to make it

  • Place sliced onions in bottom of crockpot.
  • Add chicken.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients.
  • Cover and cook for 6 to 6 1/2 hours on low.
  • When cooking complete, remove bay leaf and bones.
  • Serve over spaghetti, linguini, or fettucini.

    I love those crockpot recipes - the Fix It and Forget series has some excellent ones, doesn't it? I will have to give this a try soon - love all the flavors in it...thanks!

    This is a childhood comfort food for me, I think my mother made it just this way. I always loved it.
