This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Brooks Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1988.

While reading this recipe (thank you for sharing) i decided that this is exactly what i need today on thiis grey winter#s day - so colourful! i shall get into my car forthwith and get the ingredients - although i'll probably substitute something called 'quark' for the cottage cheese - 'quark' being something like a creamy cottage cheese but not quite...sort of a combination of cream cheese, yoghurt, cottage cheese, sour cream - and it is a wonderful thing to make a cheese cake with.
i'll come back to this recipe and let you know how i fared - with your instructions it should be great.
