Ingredients

3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes

3/4-1 cup sugar

1 1/2 sticks butter divided

2 eggs beaten

1 Tsp. vanilla

1/3 cup milk

1/2-1cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup flour

1 cup choppesd nuts {your Choice

Pour into a 1 1/2 quart greased casserole dish

Directions

Pre heat oven: 325

Blend together: Sweet potatoes sugar 1 stick butter

egss vanilla and milk.

Place in greased prepared casserole dish

Mix together brown sugar flour remaining 1/2 stick butter and nuts

Sprinle over potatoe mixture

Bake untill very hot

This is almost the same recipe as my grandma always made. I don't think hers had milk in it though. My favorite! More like a desert than dinner. I still have to serve it with a big heavy metal spoon that was hers when I make it now. I know, I know, I am a sentimental fool :)
