How to make it

  • Using a meat tenderizing mallet or knife (or my favorite a 5 lb dumb bell)
  • Pound the steak to 1/2 inch thick
  • Cut into serving pieces
  • Combine flour and seasonings
  • Dip in Sourdough starter, then in flour mixture
  • Fry in 1-inch of hot fat in a heavy skillet
