Lemon Coconut Breakfast Crescents Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1-8oz. tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2T. butter
  • 1/3c. coconut
  • 1/3c. sugar
  • 1T. grated lemon peel
  • GLAZE:
  • 1/4c. sugar
  • 1/4c. sour cream
  • 2T. lemon juice
  • 2T. butter

Directions
  1. Separate crescent rolls & spread with butter.
  2. Combine coconut, sugar & lemon peel. (Reserve 2T. for topping.)
  3. Sprinkle remaining coconut mixture over buttered crescents.
  4. Roll up from wide end & place point side down on greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake @ 375F for 16-18 min. or until golden brown.
  6. Meanwhile, combine glaze ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil & boil for 3 min or until glossy.
  7. Cool glaze slightly, then pour over warm rolls.
  8. Sprinkle with reserved coconut mixture.

Hottamale, I love lemon and coconut together, so I must make these for breakfast one morning!...Tell hubby to add crescent rolls to tomorrow's grocery list!
