Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place fish in oven-proof baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with salt.
  • Spread with mayonnaise like you are frosting a cake.
  • Best to create a seal to lock in moisture.
  • Top with onion, tomato & cheese.
  • Add paprika or pepper.
  • Bake at 375 for 45 min.
  • Add small amount of water to dish if necessary.

    OK I made this last night. Great dish, reminds me of Russian cooking. They always bake fish topped with mayo and onions. This was so simple, too! I used cheddar cheese and did add some capers to the mayo like you suggested. Added a picture. Thanks again for the great post!
