Ingredients

How to make it

  • If necessary, cut kimchi into desirable size (about 2-inch lengths)
  • Cut green onion into 2 to 3-inch length pieces
  • Open tuna and drain oil (or water) well
  • Mix seasoning ingredients; (red pepper, 1 tsp. garlic, and ginger)
  • In a pot, stir kimchi, seasoning mixture, 1 Tbl. chopped garlic, sesame oil, and tuna over high heat for about 5 minutes.
  • Pour 1 1/2 cups water over it and bring to a boil
  • When it starts to boil, add fish sauce
  • Boil gently over medium heat for 20 minutes
  • Add green onion just before turning off the heat

    This was fantastic! I actually skipped the tuna and put in some cooked shrimp when the broth was ready. It was so delicious. Kind of like a korean version of Tom Yum Goong. :) Thanks for the great recipe.
