Ingredients

How to make it

  • Prepare rice until soft, in a pressure cooker if possible.
  • Strain and set aside.
  • Combine milk, sugar, vanilla and brandy and boil.
  • Add reserved rice and stir constantly on medium heat until creamy.
  • Turn off heat and cool.
  • Pour into dessert bowls and sprinke with cinammon.

    these ARE awesome--- I know because I make a very similar recipe: "Shrimp and Potato Fritters (Bombas de Camarones y Papas)" The only major difference is mine has butter in them and the cheese is Muenster Cheese :-)

    This is very good!!! I made it as written except I used chicken instead of shrimp! I served it with an Aioli dipping sauce as suggested and it was perfect with these croquettes!!! I will probably be making these again for Father's Day for my father in law...he loves croquettes! This recipe made 24 palm size croquettes. I added a photo!

    This does sound good! It would probably be good with crabmeat or other fish also! It would even be good without the fish! Thanks for posting it!
