I do have to tell you the last batch of aebleskivers turned out wonderful (it was my spice)I think it just dyed on the shelf. I'm ready for the toss-up!

Love it! I varied step one to ensure a short crust - pulsed flour, sugar and hard butter in food processor to fine crumbs - then pressed into pan. Also, I sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on top before baking. Amazing results - the squares disappeared very quickly!!
