How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350*F.
  • In a large bowl; mix first 7 ingredients well.
  • Tear up sausage into dry mix; toss to coat.
  • Tear up sausage some more, using dry mix to coat as you go, until sausage is finely torn and coated.
  • Add cheeses; fluffing and mixing by hand to make a loose conglomerate dough.
  • Add eggs; mix by hand until just blended.
  • Fashion walnut size balls and place them on an ungreased lipped cookie sheet one to two inches apart.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Cool for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
  • Store refrigerated. Microwave a few seconds to warm.

    Very interesting recipe! I may have to try this with ham instead of sausage, and omit the Velvetta...not a big fan of those two ingredients!

    Picture of cookie sheet has too many balls on it. Was just using as a staging ground as I was balling and wanted to show the uncooked product.
