How to make it

  • TILAPIA:
  • Process pecans in food processor until very fine.
  • Sprinkle fish fillets with salt, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Dredge fish in pecans.
  • Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat.
  • Add fish and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side until well browned and fish flakes with a fork.
  • SAUCE:
  • Melt 1 tablespoon butter in small skillet over medium high heat.
  • Add shallots and garlic and saute until shallots are tender.
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Slowly whisk in rum, juices, honey and remaining butter.
  • Cook, stirring occasionally, 1 minutes.
  • Serve warm
  • Garnish fish, if desired.

    This is wonderful I just tweeked it by adding unsweeten coconutto the fish for a more topical taste and once tried adding some diced mango to the rum sauce absolulty fab!!!!! and different my friends were amazed thought they were Jamacia.

    great one! I buy this when we go out now I can make it at home for much less. And with a sauce you could use over your dessert as well. Love it
