Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F..
  • Toss 4 tablespoons melted butter with the roll cubes, Parmesan cheese and parsley and set aside.
  • Saute onions in remaining 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet over medium high heat for 15 minutes OR until golden brown.
  • Add mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in wine, soup, roasted peppers and chicken.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes OR until bubbly.
  • Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 9" square baking dish.
  • Top evenly with bread mixture.
  • Bake for 15 minutes OR until golden.

    I think that Southern Living is one of the very best out there and this dish just helps their push to #1, nym! It's not so very different from a chicken with dumplings on top but oh my! doesn't the word "cobbler" work its magic? Enjoy..

    This sounds wonderful too, I like the crusty top. This would please the family, even those who are getting tired of chicken. Nice post. Don't you love Southern Living?
