How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients except chicken.
  • Add wings and stir to coat.
  • Cover and chill several hours.
  • To cook wings, place drained wings on aluminum foil lined baking pan.
  • Bake 375 for 25 minutes then baste with reserved marinade until wings are cooked through.
  • Remove pan from oven.
  • Turn on broiler and broil wings until deeply browned.

    I made this sauce yesterday and it was very good, but more subtle than I thought it would be. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's good to have the flavor of the chicken come through.
    We're not fans of intense heat, so I don't have red pepper flakes on hand. I used the same amount of Frank's Red Hot sauce. It wasn't nearly enough ... couldn't tell it was there. :^)
    I'll be making this sauce again. We enjoyed it. Thanks.
