I use Good Seasons all the time, but just happened to run out. While this recipe doesn't taste exactly like Good Seasons, it is rather a good alternative and just as tasty - I could use this and not miss Good Seasons. I only used half the table salt and still found the final dressing a tad too salty. I would cut even more salt next time. All the other ingredients were fine, maybe a tad less oregano next time, too. Adjust the portions to your taste, but realize that only 2 tbls. of the final mix is actually used in the dressing, not all the mix. I made this into a very low-calorie dressing by substituting olive oil (120 calories per 1 tbls.) with Wishbone Fat Free Italian Dressing (15 calories per 2 tbls.). I find fat free Italian dressing by itself bland and tasteless, which is why I like to use it (as olive oil) in conjunction with a Good Seasons dry mix, like this recipe.

I used only 1/2 the salt called for in the recipe, and it was still too salty. Good otherwise, and convenient, as I had all the ingredients on hand!

WAY too much oregano and parsley. Didn't think it tasted too much like Good Seasons. Think it needs to be tweaked.

I love this dressing...I cannot believe how much the Good Seasons packets cost these days...I can get these ingredients in the spice bins where we shop and make this for a fraction of the price! Thank you:)

I think I have everything on this list of ingredients except for the garlic salt...maybe I can use garlic powder and extra salt?
