How to make it

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees F
  • cut tortillas into wedges and put on baking pan
  • spray with fat free spray and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
  • bake for 5 minutes, turn over and spray and sprinkle again
  • bake until crisp (another 3-5 minutes)
  • While wedges are cooling heat up caramel sauce
  • Peel, core, and grate apples
  • generously sprinkle apples onto tortillas and drizzle caramel sauce all over.
  • (there really aren't exact amounts just "eyeball" everything to your own personal tastes...hope you enjoy!)

Lillian thank you for the great pic!!! I am SO glad you and your hubby both enjoyed them :-) I would have taken a picture of them when I made them but to be honest I really wasn't sure what they were going to taste like LOL Yes, I do agree they taste just like a caramel apple...I was also thinking to maybe try adding chopped peanuts too...oh the ideas are endless LOL

I just finished eating this and it was amazingly good! I made my own caramel sauce by melting caramel candies in a sauce pan over medium heat with a little fat free half n' half to thin it out. My husband couldn't stop eating it, and he doesn't usually eat sweets! This is a perfect dessert or snack...tastes just like caramel apples but even better because of the cinnamon and the crunchy tortillas! I'll be making this a lot! I added my photo!
