Set it and forget it. This is a wonderful ham to use as main meal or to cut and use for sandwiches later.

Ingredients
  • 1- 5 pound ham, trimmed of outside fat
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1-2 cans of coca-cola soda.

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients in a crockpot.
  2. Set on low.
  3. Allow to cook for 4-6 hours.
  4. Remove ham, discard everything else.
  5. Serve ham with beans and potoatoes, or slice up and serve later for sandwiches with slaw and rye bread!

This sounds great....Ive used Dr.Pepper for the cola part and wow...it makes a bit of a difference. thanks.


My grandmother used to use pure coca cola syrup back in the 50's, so it's adapted from that. I think it's the sugar content that makes it so good.


I have heard people talk about doing this, but I've never tried it - you've prompted me to get out the crockpot and try this out! Thanks!!
