Roasted Garlic Italian Herb Cheesecake Recipe
A great start for a party. Depending on the garlic content, you can keep Dracula away all night! Serve with hard bread and red wine.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter crackers, crushed
  • 1 pound Philly cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tea. lemon juice
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 tea. salt
  • 1/4 tea. black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Roasted garlic powder
  • 3/4 tea. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325^.
  2. Spray 6" spring-pan with cooking spray.
  3. Swirl crumbs around in pan to dust sides and bottom.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Blend cream cheese and lemon juice until smooth.
  6. Add eggs one at a time.
  7. Add salt, pepper, garlic and seasoning, mixing thoroughly.
  8. Fold in Parmesan cheese.
  9. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 325^ for 45-55 minutes.
  10. Let cool and serve at room temp.

I've never seen roasted garlic powder. Can I use fresh roasted garlic? Do you think anything else should be adjusted if I do?
