Brown sugar and Pepper Baked Bacon

- 12 slices of thick bacon(more or less depending on amount needed) shopping list
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Line a large baking pan with wax paper or foil
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Coat bacon with brown sugar and sprinkle each side with cracked blacked pepper(adjust amount to your liking)
- Lay bacon, single layer across wax paper or foil
- Bake until desired crispness(12 to 20 minutes)
- You don't need to turn bacon but you can if you like, mid way through baking time.
- Remove from oven and drain on paper towels.
- Serve
- * if using later, cook less time, remove from oven and drain.
- Place in airtight storage container and refrigerate until needed.
- To reheat, just fry it up in a pan or place back in oven for a few minutes.
