Oven Barbecued Pork Recipe
This is an old recipe of my mother -in-law's that we enjoy. Savory goodness suggests it took a lot of doing. It's an easy-to-do-dish.

Ingredients
  • 1 5lb pork loin
  • 1/3c finely chopped onion
  • 1/3c finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 clove garlic,minced
  • 2Tbs brown sugar 2tsp prepared mustard
  • 1 can(1-1/4c)Campbell's Tomato Soup
  • 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbs lemon juice or vinegar
  • 4 drops Tobasco sauce

Directions
  1. Place pork in shallow pan and roast in slow oven(325) for 2 hours. Combine sauce ingredients;mix well and pour over roast.
  2. Continue cooking for 1-1/2 hours basting frequently. Serve hot barbecue sauce over pork slices.

What a terrific recipe!..saving it and I give it a 5!!


Mmmm How'd I miss this before? Sounds delicious. Since there's just the 2 of us, might have to use a 2 lb. roast though instead. Too many leftovers!
