Mandarian Orange Poke Cake Recipe
This recipe was sent to me and I looked at it and thought it was familiar. After reading it I realized it was a recipe I made years ago and forgot about it. ( Lost the recipe when moving) Wonderful tasting cake.

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 2 small cans of Madarin oranges
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 TBSP vanilla extract or flavoring
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 1 sm orange gelatin package
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water

Directions
  1. Directions
  2. Mix cake according to manufacturer's directions.
  3. Fold in drained mandarin oranges. Bake as directed in 9 x 13 pan. Mix orange gelatin with 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
  4. Stir until dissolved.
  5. When cake is almost cool, poke holes in the cake top with a large fork and pour gelatin mix over cake.
  6. Allow the cake to cool. Refrigerate to speed proccess. While cake cools, mix the vanilla pudding with 2 cups milk according to directions.
  7. Add in extra vanilla flavoring and then fold in whipped topping. Spread over cake top.
  8. Refrigerate until served.
  9. Store extra in refrigerator.

This is a great cake nice and light not really sweet but so sweet you just have to have more. You would not be doing yourself a favor by using another recipe. This is a FIVE fork keeper!!!
