Choc honey cake

- 2 eggs, room temp shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 125g butter, softened shopping list
- 3/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- chocolate icing shopping list
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder shopping list
- 1 cup icing sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1 tablespoon hot water shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 180°Celcius. Grease and line a lamington pan with baking paper.
- Using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each. Add honey. Beat well.
- Sift flour and cocoa over butter mixture. Fold into butter mixture until combined. Stir in milk until combined. Spoon into pan. Smooth surface. Bake for 30 minutes. Stand in pan for 5 minutes.
- Make chocolate icing: Sift sugar and cocoa into a bowl. Combine honey and water. Stir into dry ingredients until smooth. Cut cake into squares. Drizzle icing over cake. Hide it somewhere safe and eat at leisure.
