This recipe from my mom ..and if u make to do that u dont need any other meals on your tabel ..its just amazing..

Ingredients
  • Turkish Manti
  • Dough:
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour1/2 cup water2 teaspoons salt
  • Filling:
  • 1 lb potatoes 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 bunch fresh parsley(about 1/4 cup once chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 T olive oil or butter
  • (2 tbspooan goat cheese(u dont have to do that ı just love goat cheese:)
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup plain yogurt1/2 teaspoon salt1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter1/2 teaspoon paprika

Directions
  1. Combine yogurt, garlic, and salt and mix well. Set aside.
  2. Potato Filling:
  3. Finely chop onion and saute over medium low heat, allowing to cook until translucent while preparing the rest of the filling.
  4. Wash potato and place in a medium pan of boiling water. Boil until soft.
  5. Remove from water and run under cold water, peeling the skin as you do so.
  6. Mash potato with fork then add salt, pepper, paprika and parsley. Set filling aside.
  7. Manti Sheets(pasta)
  8. Combine flour, water and salt in large bowl and mix until dough forms.
  9. Knead to form a solid dough, then set aside for 15 minutes. Cut dough to pieces about the size of your hand and roll dough into thick sheets.
  10. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
  11. Place a small amount of filling onto each square and fold so points meet, to make a triangle.
  12. Press seams closed.
  13. Set aside on baking sheet sprinkled with flour.
  14. Boil water in large pot, and add prepared manti, a few at a time, until cooked just pasta al dente.(about 10 minutes).Melt remaining butter in small sauce pan, and add paprika.
  15. To serve, plate manti, adding a liberal amount of yogurt topping, and garnish with paprika butter.
  16. ıf u wanna make the filling with ground beef here ..
  17. .For the filling
  18. 1 small onion, grated
  19. 1 pound ground beef or veal
  20. 1/3 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley
  21. salt
  22. freshly ground pepper
  23. Prepare the filling by mixing together in a bowl the grated onion, meat, parsley, salt, and pepper to taste. Set aside.
