How to make it

  • Render in fry pan salt pork let drain on paper towel
  • in stock pot add butter and saute onions,garlic,celery,tyme,and bay leaves,for 4 minutes on med highheat
  • add potatoes and clam broth and water to cover,bring to boil then simmer covered for 10 minutes remove from heat add cream and clams
  • serve in soup bowls top with crispy salt pork and parsley toasted slice garlic baggett on the side
