Ingredients

1- large can crushed pineapple

3/4 - cup sugar

3 - cups flour

5- tablespoons minute tapicoa

2- tablespoons butter

2- sticks of butter/ or margarine

2- egg yolks . beaten ...................reserve egg whites..........

1- teaspoon salt

1- teaspoon vanilla

1- tablespoon sugar

1/2- cup milk

Directions

Bring pineapple, sugar and tapicoca to a boil........

cook until thickened........

remove from heat.........add 2 tablespoons butter

cool completely.........

mix flour and 2 sticks butter / margarine as for a pie................

beat egg yolks, salt, vanilla, sugar and milk

pour into flour........mix..........

divide dough in half...........grease pan

roll out 10 1/2 x 15 ( jelly roll) pan ( cookie sheet)

spread dough in pan

and then add filling on top

roll out remaining dough and put over filling

brush with egg white........

sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and ground nuts over the top

bake at 350 degrees f. for 40 minutes...........

cool and cut into squares

serves 10-14

Check your recipe - I think maybe you left out the flour. You mention it in the instructions but it isn't in the inrgedients.
Love pineapple and would love to make it!
