Grilled Cabbage Recipe
By simple using light amounts of flavors and slower cooking, the cabbage becomes a smooth soft side dish for any meal. No bitterness, unless you use red cabbage(a little bit).

Ingredients
  • 1 medium green cabbage
  • 1 stick butter, soft
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 tea. garlic powder
  • 3/4 tea. onion salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 full strips bacon

Directions
  1. Mix parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion salt, and sugar.
  2. Cut cabbage head into 6 wedges.
  3. Remove core and brown leaves.
  4. Spread butter on cut sides.
  5. Sprinkle parmesan mix on buttered sides.
  6. Wrap a piece of bacon around each wedge.
  7. Wrap wedges on 2 layer of foil, completely covered.
  8. Grill indirectly, or over low heat, for 45 minutes, turning twice.
  9. Let sit in foil for 10-15 minutes.
  10. Unwrap and serve.

I always cook cabbage the same way....smothered down with onions, salt & pepper. This is great, same ingredients, just a different way of cooking. Love it! Thanks
