Cream Cheese Pound Cake

- 1 pkg cream cheese (8oz), softened shopping list
- 3 sticks margarine shopping list
- 3 cups sugar shopping list
- 6 eggs (room temperature) shopping list
- 3 cups sifted flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Blend cream cheese and margarine together; add sugar beating slowly.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Add flour, small amount at a time.
- Add vanilla; beat well.
- Pour into well greased and floured tube pan.
- Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

This is the pound cake that my grandmother used to make. It is rumored that she won a ribbon for this cake in the Ohio state fair. It is so good and brings back memories. Thanks for adding it to the collection.
