Got a vegetable lover in the house so I try to find different ways to prepare them....Got this out of a magazine years ago

Ingredients
- 1 lb.green beans, rinsed and stem trimmed
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbls. soy sauce
- 1 tbls. rice wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp.red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tbls. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tbls. fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup shallot, thinly sliced
Directions
- Cut beans in half
- In mixing bowl, add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, pepper flakes and pepper and combine
- In skillet over high heat high heat, add beans and water
- Cover and cook 3 minutes
- Uncover and cook until all liquid is gone
- Add oil, garlic, ginger and shallots to skillet
- Stir and cook a minute or so....Beans should brown slightly
- Add soy sauce mixture, bring to boil and constantly stir until most of liquid is gone and sauce coats beans
