    I like your changes too Manella. I love cashew milk, have you tried that? I use it all the time. It's really thick and creamy compared to coconut milk though, so good for replacing cream. :)

    Subbed flaxseed for the walnuts, to up my Omega-3. Had to add the optional milk to make it to my liking. Also dropped a strawberry on top for a present for eating a healthy meal.
    I'll have to have this 2xday to get the Omega-3 I want. Or maybe figure out a way to introduce flaxseed into my other meals.

    Thank you for trying my recipe, pso! I'm glad you liked it. That is a very nice photo. I don't know what your target Omega-3 is, but hubby and I try to eat a diet high in Omega-3. The top 3 foods that are highest in Omega-3 are flaxseed, walnuts, and salmon. Do you not like walnuts? If you added both to the oatmeal that would really raise it. I keep a bag of walnuts on the counter and we will grab a handful just to eat as a snack. I like flaxseed, but hubby not so much. I have a really good recipe for blueberry flaxseed pancakes that he'll eat.

    I like all nuts but can't chew them anymore. I'd have to grind them to use them. But flaxseed has twice the Omega-3 for the same serving size. My target is 4 grams/day to help with my neuropathy.
    In the picture, that's the yogurt on top of the oats before it got stirred in. Thought it gave the pic nice contrast.
