Crab Stuffed Jalapenos

    Was planning a Mexican themed dinner last night and was in search of an appetizer.
    Decided to try
    Crab Stuffed Jalapenos
    by Notyourmomma. It was fantastic! I had never eaten an entire jalopeno before or stuffed them or baked them. I'd been worried they'd be too hot. The blanching really brought out the gorgeous green colour of the pepper and the peppers had a subtle heat, really nice, not hot at all. I used a can of salad crab meat as I couldn't find refrigerated. I made up half the batch last night and will happily finish up the second half this evening. Great recipe Tina! Thank-you!

    Thank you so much for bringing this recipe to my attention Janet in the ODD! I ended up throwing this together last minute for Superbowl..considering I had just on a whim picked up 2 cans of crab from Trader Joe's last week. These were delicious and well received. Great appy.! Thanks Tina :) :)

    Your most welcome Michelle. I made them again as Super Bowl Appy's this year too. :) This time I used fake crab....pollock. It worked equally well.
