Creamy Souerkraut Kielbasa Soup by Fizzle3nat

This was a really good soup, I think Points would approve. LOL I mashed potatoes a little once they were cooked to make a creamier consistency. The flavor was delish, souerkraut lost most of its sourness while cooking and blended in perfectly with kielbasa and potatoes. Posted my pic to compare. I really have lighting issues in my house. LOL My pic looks a lot darker. Will definitely make again!

Yes, I was thinking the same thing when I saw it...Points would love this!

I know I'll be making this next week!!!

I have the same problem sometimes with my photos. I just can't get it bright enough no matter what I do! But I can still tell it looks delicious!

Thanks for showing it to us!

Thanks for trying my soup! I am really pleased and flattered that you liked it. Regarding my photos, I am not a photographer at all. I happened to be editing a personal picture in Microsoft Office Picture Manager, and under the 'edit' tab, and then under the 'color' button, I found a button that says 'enhance color'. When you click on it, it asks you to click somewhere in the picture that is supposed to be white. Voila! It fixes the color and the picture looks more like what you see with your eyes!

So, I had a 'lightbulb moment' and figured out that I can make it easy on myself by always plating on a white dish when I take a food picture. Then I go into the picture manager and 'enhance the color'. I click on the white dish and the color/brightness/contrast are fixed. It's an easy, quick cheat that makes my food pictures yummy looking! Thanks again!

It looks like perfect cold weather food to me! The ingredients sound really good to me, especially the sour cream and dill. I will be making this soon too!

Thanks for highlighting it for us, Juels :)
