I'm not sure if there's a mistake in the ingredients because the consistancy of these balls is like raw cookie dough! Tastes good though! I added a full review and photo. I'm waiting for some feedback from taste testers before I rate the recipe.

Clearly no one else has tried the recipe, just remarked on it.

I would try baking a few.

I don't think that was the error...but that might work to dry them out a bit. I might just try that! Thanks Points!

I can't wait to hear what Mr. Lillian's co-workers think! I have a feeling their either going to love them or totally hate them! Some people are really into eating raw cookie dough!

I just hope they don't think I'm really senile and just forgot to bake them! My memory is bad these days, but not that bad..........YET!

This recipe follows the example of rum balls or cake balls. Extremely delicious--but the dough becomes entirely too viscuous/maleable with the addition of extra sugars and liquids.

These would be perfect if the condensed milk amount were decreased to about 1/2 or 3/4 of a can.

You're looking for a firm enough ball to hold a shape--but not feel like raw dough in the mouth. Think rum balls, buckeyes and fudge. That's the consistency you're looking for, and it doesn't take that much liquid to do it. Also, the mixing stage is crucial to a good ball---quite a bit of kneading to get 'em right.

Try it again--the flavors are there--it just needs tweaking! :-)

Thank you Knox! I know that you know your stuff! You're right... the flavor is there, but the mouth feel is off! Yes, I think 1/2 of a can would work perfectly next time!

Mr. Lillian called them Cookie Dough Balls! His co-workers liked them...they ate 1/2 of them so far!

    Points...YOU ARE THE MAN AGAIN!!!

I just tried your quick fix idea and it worked splendidly!!! First I added another 1/2 a cup of graham cracker crumbs...but still too doughy...then I rolled them into balls and baked them at 350* for 15 minutes. Then they were perfect! Now, when they cool off, I'll dust them with the sugar mixture! Thank you for saving my balls! I really didn't want to throw them out!
